Official 2025 Social Security Payment Schedule

Social Security Benefits

Standard Payment Schedule:

  • • Birth date 1st - 10th: Second Wednesday
  • • Birth date 11th - 20th: Third Wednesday
  • • Birth date 21st - 31st: Fourth Wednesday

Special Rules:

If you received Social Security before May 1997 or if receiving both Social Security & SSI, Social Security is paid on the 3rd and SSI on the 1st (regardless of birth date).

Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

Payment Schedule:

Standard: 1st of each month

Weekend/Holiday Rule: Paid on the last business day before the 1st
